We offer all new clients a free 30 minute consultation. This is an opportunity to meet your counsellor, ask questions and feel comfortable and confident before you begin therapy.

Individual Counselling

Individual sessions can take place in our office, by phone, or online. We also offer Walk and Talk sessions if you’d like to take advantage of a nice day to walk around the Air Park.

$135-$160 / hour

Couples /Family Counselling

Family sessions can be any combination of family members such as siblings, spouses, or a parent and child. Couple/family sessions can take place in our office, by phone, or online.  These sessions are 90 minutes.

$200 / 90 minutes

Children Counselling

When working with children and youth, we understand that they face their own set of unique challenges. Many of our counsellors have extensive backgrounds working with children from infants to adolescents. It is preferable if sessions for young children take place in our child therapy room.  Older children can meet by phone, online or texting if they prefer.  Walk-and-talk options are also available for teens.

$135-$160 / hour

Counselling Package

We offer a special rate of $600 + GST when you pay in advance for 5 individual sessions.  You get 5 hour-long sessions, saving you $150.00.  Just let your counsellor know that you want this option at your first appointment.

Special Discount Rate

We are proud to offer a discount rate for people who see our masters level practicum student for counselling. You will receive the benefit of having a competent Masters level student counsellor and also a skilled Clinical Supervisor offering guidance and resources every step of the way.

Individual Supervision/Consultation

Clinical supervision is unique for each individual and will depend on your developing skills and needs as a counsellor. It is a great way for new and experienced counsellors to have a confidential place for case consultations, build skills and resources, explore parts of themselves that may be triggered in session, and receive supportive guidance and mentorship.

$160 / hour

Dyads or Small Group Supervision

Often we learn better by being in a small group of trusted colleagues to discuss issues and learn from others. Kate offers supervision in dyads or small groups of up to 4 people.  This is also a great way to reduce your costs. 

$75 / person / hour

IFS Consultation Group

This group meets bi-weekly for an hour and a half on Friday afternoons It is specifically for those offering Internal Family Systems.  Prior training in the IFS model is a prerequisite. This group is capped at 8 participants.  Opportunities for discussion, case consultations, and skill development are available. Please see “For Counsellors” for more information.

Monthly Supervision Group

Each year from September to June, Kate offers a monthly Supervision group from 10:30-noon on the second Monday of each month (unless its  holiday).  Every group is different as the participants identify the topics they would like to learn and skills they would like to develop. The group offers opportunities for learning, discussion, case conferencing, sharing resources and support.  The group is limited to 8 participants. The cost is $600 for the year and is payable in 3 instalments.

Family Reunification/ Supervised Visits

We are proud to provide support services for families that are dealing with court-ordered reunification or supervised visits.  We provide a safe, neutral, child-focused space for family members to connect. Counsellors can also provide coaching, modelling, and resources that foster positive relationships.
