Have you encountered a significant life transition? Transitioning from one role to another can present challenges that are not always straightforward, and navigating these pivotal years can be confusing. Many experience a feeling of losing direction or purpose, and some get lost in a process with no clear answers.
Although mid-life is a natural time of transition, many of us are left feeling stuck and wondering, “What now?” As someone who has walked that path myself, I can help you navigate the often concurrent mid-life transitions such as changing relationships, empty nesting, changing careers, caring for aging parents, or divorce.
I support adults of all ages facing a wide range of challenges, including grief, anxiety, depression, burnout, and life transitions. My approach is integrative and client-centered. I use practical tools and techniques tailored to help you in your everyday life. Every session is personalized, meeting you where you are at that specific stage of your life.
Our work together may involve the following treatment approaches:
Attachment Theory: Focusing on relationships and bonds between people, including those between a parent and child and between romantic partners.
Internal Family Systems (IFS): Cultivating self-leadership by compassionately engaging with the different parts of ourselves.
Narrative Therapy: Exploring how personal stories shape our identities and discovering new ways to reframe and empower our narrative.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Unpacking how thoughts and behaviours affect our emotions and decisions.
I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor and a Certified Life Skills Coach. I am registered with both the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists and Professional Member of the International Coaching Federation. I hold a Graduate Diploma in Counselling.
