
Julie Mills, RPC-C
Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a post graduate diploma in counselling. She is licensed with the Canadian Professional Counsellor’s Association.
Julie lives in the Comox Valley with her family and has a strong belief in the power of every individual on their healing journey. She is trained to help individuals with stress, self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and emotional abuse. She is also passionate about helping individuals recover from the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Julie’s approach to counselling integrates a variety of techniques with a primary focus on building a trusting and collaborative, client-focussed relationship.
Julie helps clients gain an awareness and understanding of themselves and how unhealthy thoughts, feelings and behaviours can impact daily life. Working one on one with the client, Julie helps guide tailored goals that build resilience, self-awareness, and healthier coping skills. Julie offers teletherapy as well as in-person therapy. As nature is a transformative healer, she also offers “walk and talks” in the accessible and natural areas of the Comox Valley.
