Philip works with with individual adults and teens experiencing a wide range of issues such as phobias, anxiety, and depression. He works together with clients to explore and progressively release the constraints that limit our natural capacity for greater inner balance, This allows you to become less reactive to the inevitable stresses of life.
Philip often works using the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model. He has completed the level 2 training and understands the benefits of this non-pathologizing form of therapy. From an IFS perspective, all our difficulties are there for a good reason even when that seems highly unlikely!
Philip also uses mindfulness techniques, which can be a great first step towards healing and are very compatible with IFS. Philip is also informed by a number of other evidence based psychological theories and models such as attachment theory, and humanistic counselling.
Philip works exclusively through video or phone calls, and is only available for afternoon and evening sessions as he lives in Hong Kong, which has quite a big time difference from BC.
