Individual & Small Group Supervision

Please change to, “Individual supervision provides a confidential space for case consultation, skill development, ethical decision making, and mentorship.  It is ideal for both new and experienced counsellors. For those who prefer a more collaborative setting, dyads or small groups of up to 4 offer peer-supported learning, detailed case discussions, and a reduced cost.

Clinical Group Supervision

Seahorse Counselling’s group supervision offers a supportive, collaborative space for professional development, tailored to participants’ interests and clinical focus. Whether engaging in general supervision or IFS consultation, these groups of 6-8 participants foster in-depth discussion, skill-building, and peer connection — helping you grow in confidence and competence as a clinician.

VIDEO REVIEWS

Receive personalized feedback on your clinical work through video review. Led by Kate, an IFS-approved Clinical Consultant and RCC-ACS, we offer long video reviews (50–60 minutes) for in-depth feedback on full client sessions, and short video reviews (around 20 minutes) for focused, targeted insights to support your clinical growth.

Supervision of Supervision

Kate offers supervision for Supervisor Candidates, including support with developing supervisory skills, navigating ethical issues, and reviewing required documents such as contracts and reflection papers.

Training & Courses

Seahorse Counselling offers professional development opportunities such as : 

IFS Basics Course — an 8-week online program exploring the theory and practice of Internal Family Systems. Designed for counsellors, it blends learning and experiential work to help you become IFS-informed.

IFS Basics RETREAT – This course focuses on the theory and practice of Internal Family SystemsYou will learn the IFS model and have the added benefit of experiencing IFS as a clinician and a client. This course is geared towards professional counsellors interested in becoming IFS-informed.

Practicing Attachment using the Dynamic Maturation Model of Attachment and Adaptation – This is for people who want to understand better why they have the feelings, beliefs, impulses or reactions they do, how it impacts relationships, and to better understand why others do things that can frustrate or hurt us.
