Hello, I’m Suzanna (she/her), a practicum student currently pursuing a Master’s degree in
Counselling Psychology. I work with young adults, adults, and seniors navigating anxiety
(including fears and phobias), significant life transitions, health changes, and those pivotal
in-between moments when identity, direction, or stability feel uncertain. While these periods
can feel disorienting, they can also hold real possibilities.
My background is rooted in somatic and experiential practices, including clinical
hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques (tapping), and parts-oriented approaches. I
bring a strong awareness of the nervous system into our work, helping you understand how
stress and uncertainty show up in the body, and how we can gently work with those
responses to build regulation and resilience.
I am influenced by narrative perspectives, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and
Commitment Therapy (ACT) and solution-focused approaches. I believe our experiences
shape us, and that we are also active participants in the story of our lives. Together, we can
explore the different parts of you that carry your history, clarify your values, and reconnect
with your inner compass. Creativity and curiosity are welcome here, as imaginative
exploration can unlock insight and expand what feels possible.
Empowerment guides my work. My role is not to fix, but to walk alongside you as you
rediscover your wisdom and capacity for change. I strive to create a safe, affirming, and
inclusive space where you can explore openly, reclaim your resilience, and move forward
with confidence.
