I am a student counsellor completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with Yorkville University. My approach is person-centred at its core, drawing from Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and body-based practices to support clients in reconnecting with their own clarity, resilience, and inner leadership. I also lean toward existential perspectives, shaped by many years of cultural and spiritual work in diverse settings.
Before entering clinical training, I spent more than a decade learning within Indigenous communities in the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and the Amazon, including a traditional apprenticeship in an Amazonian healing lineage. These relationships, along with my work running Danu Folk School, have grounded my understanding of healing, story, and the importance of belonging—to self, to land, and to community.
I bring a trauma-informed, culturally aware, and collaborative presence to therapy. My background includes navigating my own mixed-heritage identity, working across cultural difference, and engaging in ongoing conversations about privilege, safety, and responsibility. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and strive to create a space where your lived experience is honoured, your pace is respected, and your voice leads the way.
