My name is Jillian, and I am a Professional Art Therapist offering in-person and virtual art therapy services to children, teens, and adults.
With ten years of experience as a youth support worker, I am passionate about neurodiversity-affirming care. I also have experience working with individuals in crisis, including those fleeing domestic violence, navigating unplanned pregnancies, addictions, and homelessness. In all of this, art has always been woven into both my personal and professional life, as I have experienced its nurturing and restorative nature firsthand.
Art therapy offers a powerful means of self-expression and connection, enhancing overall well-being. Through the intentional use of various art materials, we can cultivate self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience, helping to manage stress, process grief, and foster self-compassion.
Inspired by Narrative Therapy and Internal Family Systems, I aim to help you re-imagine and redefine your story. Together, we’ll transform feelings of shame or overwhelm into curiosity and compassion through creative exploration. My goal is to foster clarity, calm, and self-kindness in our sessions. In all of this, I am passionate about creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and cared for.
Our journey begins with a complimentary initial intake session to discuss your goals and ensure a good fit. Your subsequent sessions will be tailored to your needs, incorporating a range of art materials, guided visualization, spontaneous art-making, writing, and movement.
If you’re ready to embark on this creative journey, please contact me today to schedule your complimentary intake session. I look forward to connecting and creating with you soon.
