Carly is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and holds a Master’s degree in Counselling from City University. Carly enjoys helping all of her clients as they work through issues such as challenging relationships, trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and transitional life changes. Carly works with individuals, couples and families. She is also skilled working with children of all ages and abilities, adolescents and young adults.
Carly takes a client-centered approach to her counselling practice and aims to provide authentic, compassionate support as she journeys with her clients throughout the challenges they face. She uses a variety of therapeutic approaches in her practice including internal family systems, attachment theory, narrative, solution-focused, DBT and CBT.
Carly also oversees our Family Support Program, offering supervised visits, and offers Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. These services aim to support families struggling with separation, family conflict, or court ordered supervised visitations. Carly understands the difficulties parents and children experience and provides a welcoming and supportive environment for children to engage in fun activities with their family members and for parents to get the support they need to build parenting skills and confidence.
Carly works with the Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP), MCFD’s Autism Funding program, Green Shield Canada, SSQ Financial Group, and the First Nations Health Authority. If you are involved with these organizations, payment for services will be covered in full.
